Background

Disclosure of the classified documents in this section has been agreed following the process for reviewing classified information as explained in the protocol which can be found here [PDF, 82 KB].

Some of the documents continue to be partially withheld from public disclosure by means of redaction or gisting.

Redactions overwritten with the acronym “PSR” indicate that:

  1. In accordance with the review protocol, the reviewers and the Crown agencies have agreed to the scope of public disclosure of each of these documents.
  2. The PSR marking indicates the basis on which the Crown agencies have asserted, and following consultation the reviewers have accepted, that the redacted material continues to require protection under the Government’s Protective Security Requirements. See here [PDF, 191 KB] for an explanation of the shorthand references used in the Crown redactions of classified documents.
